Like the title says my 2012 running boards are experiencing the hard realities of age. The traction liner is coming off.
Has anyone removed these for re-Rhino’ing or other refinishing? Any issues with hardware or special tools/procedure for getting them off?
I figured I’d find a local Rhino spray place and see if they’ll do it.
Cheers.

same with my 2019 but its not peeling yet like the gen1s tend to..

just gonna touch them up with raptor liner.. like heavy on the sides, and light on the top for uniform finish.. hopefully

id maybe look for some place to blast them clean and then take them to linex or rhino liner prob..

a small town in way up northeast
My ‘13 is also doing it. Doesn’t help they only coated the top part so the crap gets up underneath the coating which leads to the peeling.

When i get some rust fixed im gonna strip and raptor line them fully on both sides.
