Raptors are shipping!!

i sold my 13 raptor back in july. Needless to say I knew there chance this could happen. I ordered a 2010 when they where first coming out and waited 8 months. They will get here and it will be worth the wait.

Well when I had a build date of a month ago and a delivery date of 11/17 I put my current truck up for sale. At that point delays hadn't hit yet and everything was going smoothly. I made a extra 5k selling my truck private then the dealership was going to give me. The truck needed to be sold before the Raptor came in and I didn't want to risk keeping it too long.

My dealer has not once promised me or even hinted at when my truck will arrive. The only delivery information that I have seen this far is based off of individuals on this website that have no clue what they are talking about. Why are so many so easy to listen to what someone, whom they have never met, on the internet has to say. I'll sell my truck the day the new hits the lot. Not going to get stuck during a weekend car in the middle of winter because I believed some guy in a forum. Not Fords fault!!

My dealer has not once promised me or even hinted at when my truck will arrive. The only delivery information that I have seen this far is based off of individuals on this website that have no clue what they are talking about. Why are so many so easy to listen to what someone, whom they have never met, on the internet has to say. I'll sell my truck the day the new hits the lot. I've never took any person's word from a forum. I was getting dates directly from Ford. A lot of people had ETA's like myself and they mysteriously went to TBD with no more info.

Exactly. All the dates info came from either Ford Service or Our Dealers. Go look at the stuff thats been posted here time and again. You'll see the majority of us have been critical of the "The Raptors are shipping" threads.

I even had the GM of my dealer tell me my raptor shipped. This whole process has been a fiasco much like when I ordered my GT350.

I got a VIN and a Delivery date directly from FORD. It took me three weeks to sell my truck. I was not going to let a dealership hold my Raptor untill I could sell my truck. I dont quite understand how you are going to sell your vehicle in one day once your truck hits the lot. Unless you are just going to trade it into the dealer.

Its unreal. I've had a few hot commodity cars over the years with absurd followings. None of their launches have been the utter shit show that this has turned into. And what really ****** me off is if they'd just be up front at this point about whats going on...it'd do a lot of good.

Looks like my truck got built Sunday as scheduled and then released yesterday to the body company for the spray liner. No ETA listed as of yet. Currently sitting in area 51 known to us as Ramp 59.
