Thank you Rick for getting the motor process started. I can't wait to see what kind of power I'll be putting down now.

Well the motor is in and the tune is coming together, but I am upgrading the procharger head unit to get some more boost out of it. With the ported heads the boost dropped down to 5psi range and with minimal aftermarket support for there motors we decided to go with a bigger head unit instead of smaller pulley and running into belt slippage problems. With things the way they were we were making roughly the same power on 5psi as we were with the 10psi or so it ran on the stock motor, so with the larger head unit we are hoping to run about 15psi and looking to hit the 650-700hp range to the wheels. Still running a completely stock tranny too, so hopefully that will hold up.

Curious as to how the new engine is working for you. I blew my engine and I am curious to hear your input on if the set up is worth it. I am in the process of tearing down the engine while I am home to see if the block and heads are salvageable.

I am not sure what exactly caused the first motor to go boom. I haven't had to much seat time with the new motor because Dallas Performance has been working on getting the tune right. I dropped it off at their shop at the beginning of last week and am waiting on the new headunit install and hopefully the tune will be right this time. If your motor is anything like mine there isn't going to be much salvageable and I would highly recommend the stroker setup if you've got the money for it. The stroker shortblock, ported heads, and custom cams came out to around $16k
