R starting issues...

My 23 R just had 2 cycles where it had the long start. Has 12K miles on it. Never had the issue before. Also seems to have a miss now and not sure why. taking it to the dealer later this week.

I have 4,200 miles on my 24' and it has done the long crank up one time. I have noticed thought that sometimes it idles pretty high out of nowhere at times when starting.

I have a 24' R, and this morning it turns over but will not start. It says service vehicle soon, service charging system, service advance trac, and pre collision assist not available. 5,000 miles on it.

It will probably start if you disconnect the battery for 10-20 minutes and let it reset. Might solve your problem until you can get it to a dealer tomorrow.

My wife’s R had a bad starter button from the factory. Only start if you pushed the left side, nothing anywhere else. New button and all is well.

Probably not the issue, but make sure all the fuses are seated.

I unhooked the battery for a couple hours and tried it. Turns over but won’t start. Then after it fails to start it will not even turn over again unless I unhook the battery and hook it back up.
