I agree as well on the hp. I just think a $50,000 truck for a 17 year old is a little much. I hope he appreciates everything you do for him and isn't lost when you are not there to provide for him. Awesome looking truck by the way, blue is the best!

Outstanding looking truck... Vey cool... I remember when I was 17. I had to convince my dad to cosign for me so I could buy a new 1966 Mustang. It taught me responsibility, I really appreciated it because I had to earn it. That being said, there is no way a 17 year old young man today can afford a new vehicle in todays market working 12 hours a week as a box boy. Hopefully your son will enjoy the truck for many years to come...

Even though I can afford it, I would never get my kid a car like that either. If a crappy car was good enough for his old man is good enough for him. I figure it'll teach him to be humble and be thankful for what he has. But that's just my opinion. To each his own.

So who makes the money the kid or you? Don't matter enjoy.

I work very hard! I don't make either of my kids work. All I want is for them to do well in school and have a good future. It is my job to get them there. Also to enjoy being kids! Therefore I don't mind paying for vehicles, gas and insurance.
My daughter is 19 and she gets a new Mustang each year since 2011. She is in a 2014 now. She is wonderful! Just finished her first year of college studying
Forensics.

Ok a new car every year? Seriously? Thats just to much man. I love my daughter and will do anything for her but a new car every year is just ridiculous.

She will get a 2015! Best part is that it will make me feel good. That's all that matters to me.

Tell your son I said it looks great, and he needs to let me do some embroidery on his headrests, console, sun visors, and gauge cluster cover
