Sorry I didn't have the time yet to read through the entire thread - can someone quickly fill me in on the handling impact of the different perch settings on gravel/dirt roads?

I prefer a bit more tail happy setup on was wondering if a higher perch setting causes more understeer ?

Top perch really helps keep that ass end planted... At least that's what I've noticed.

Both mid perch and top perch increase the front suspension stiffness, which increases rear grip, effectively reducing oversteer, the increased ride height in the front also allows more weight to transfer to the rear under acceleration, increasing rear grip even more and reducing oversteer even more, the raptor is nearly perfectly balanced stock for on road conditions, to the point you can control whether it oversteers or understeers with just the gas pedal, and it's plenty tail happy offroad in my opinion

That is a perfect explanation.. Modifying perch increases the preload of the coil spring. Top perch is not recommended on any Raptor 2012 and up with front torsen.

I'm at 37,000 miles on my 12 on top perch no problems with my cv's or anything else.

Is there actually anyone out there who has had problems on top perch with a 12 and up? Just curious....

There are quite a few 2012 and up owners that have had issues on top perch!

Enough problems that RCV is creating a set of axles and IWE (soon to be released) to help eliminate the issues.

Normally during soft sand/snow in 4wd causes CV joints to fail.

I guess I'm just lucky cuz the few times I have used 4wd I've really thrashed it. Everything from Ice 4wd donuts to 4wd runs at the drag strip cuz I spin too much in 2. Heck if anything happens ill just put it back to stock perch bring it in and let warranty work it's magic lol.

I know this has been discussed numerous times so I am sorry. But I asked my dealer if they could adjust the perch and this is the response I got.

To adjust the shocks $220 front and rear. for alignment $69.95 and if you like to do service it will be $79.95 uo to 5 qts of oil. Your car will take about 8 qts please call me or emailme back.

I thought you only adjusted the front shocks. Do you guys think the price sounds right too? Thanks for your help. I'm kinda a newbie to all of this.
