Don't worry, Fred has a peddle commander coming out of his ass.
I wouldn't worry to much about it being your truck that is to blame here. I'm sure the guys over at PC will be happy to replace the unit with a new one and you will be off to the races and a happy customer again. Many of people happy with their PC!
There's not enough room in this world for us all to be right - some have to be the village idiots.
Next time, try posting some links that help the OP.
Did you even bother reading the links? Your advice is going to get him stranded on the road. Don't dig on words, ok?
Not to mention the issue was still trigged after the PC was removed. Don't dig on science, either?

Put it in reverse and get a parking sensor fault, hill descent fault, and other warnings, and the gas pedal totally unresponsive, will only idle forward or backward. Restarted a couple of times with same result.
For those of you that can read, take your truck to the dealership ... in that first link alone, there's about 8 guys with the issue, and that thread is only one of many
See the similarities with mjc123?

I have a 2016 XLT FX4 and a couple weeks ago was driving down the road and swerved to miss debris in the road and the same warning lights came on. Not able to apply any kind of throttle no matter how many times I pushed the pedal. I pulled over and turned it off and started it back up. Went down the road 30 minutes or so and same thing happened. This happened 2 more times...
I called around to a few dealerships and they both said that they have seen about 5-6 come in with the past couple weeks with the same issue. They had been replacing the throttle body to correct the issue. I was able to get mine to the dealer and within 45 minutes I was back on the road with a new throttle body... Haven't had any issues since.

This issue happened to me twice yesterday. It was the first time this has happened. I was driving 65 on the freeway, not much traffic. The "Service Advancetrac" warning appeared on the screen and then "hill assist disabled " warning. I quickly realized the engine had no response from gas peddle. I was able to get over to the shoulder this time around. My boss got on his phone and goggled the warnings. He might of even got to this forum thread. I shut the engine off, gave it a minute and started it back up. The engine did some weird revving. I shut it off again and waited a few more minutes. I started it up again and everything was fine. Back at it.
About 100 miles later it happened again, in a much more precarious situation. The highway was two lanes our direction. This particular section had concrete barriers on both sides. I was in the fast lane, going up grade. The same warnings came up and the gas conked out and so I was losing momentum quickly. With the traffic situation I was barely able to at least get to the slow lane, and came to a stop. Luckily there was a few hundred yards of strait away behind me on an otherwise winding section of the road. If we we on a blind curve who know where this would go. So, stopped in the slow lane. I shut the engine off and put the hazards on. Gave it about a minute. It started back up and we were on our way again. This time the check engine light stayed on.

This past weekend my 2015 3.5L EcoBoost F150 super crew experienced two unsafe situations while driving. While traveling around 45mph on a two lane highway with no shoulder, my instrument panel displayed a wrench, followed by service advance trac, and hill start assist not available, airbag, and NO THROTTLE RESPONSE. This put my family and I in an extremely dangerous position as we coasted to a stop on a one lane road. The RPMs ran rough below 1,000 RPM and I shut the ignition off.
After waiting a couple seconds, I restarted the truck and all messages were cleared and I could drive again.
The exact same thing happened two days later. This time, my wife recorded video of the entire event after I told her it was happening again.
