Youre probably right, I just want something to do myself. My skid plate held up perfectly through the MN winter with PO15 top coat, I would think the springs would hold up at least as well.Powdercoat wouldn’t cost more than $150 and would last forever pressure washer etc

No. I’ve got a mechanic/shop literally up the hill from me.I have em myself was gonna get em powdercoated black just to look more like stock for warranty concern lol
just waiting til I pull trigger on deavers before I put em on
are you installing yourself?
So, does that mean you did a base (primer) coat, then the actual paint coat, and then a clear coat overtop? How many coats of each did you do? Any "baking" afterward, or just let the dry at room temp for a while before you installed them?Base/clear no problem after 7k
We spray water at our shop, PPG Envirobase, so it was a quick red scuff then we sealed them (vs regular primer since it’s thinner) straight gold tint as basecoat, clear and bake. I used an expensive tint but if I had to charge someone to do it with a normal color it’d probably be reasonable, $150-250 depending on color. It’s held up real well so far. I just wish I had ceramic coated them so they clean easier but I’ll do it later. So, does that mean you did a base (primer) coat, then the actual paint coat, and then a clear coat overtop?
