Spare tire question

Went to the dealership with my 2020 with 37,000 miles on the tires. I do tow a camper in summer. So I can was assuming I would need tires soon. Leaning towards the K02s again b cause I don’t know any different tires. I asked the service specialist since the spare is full size could I rotate that one and just buy 3 new tires. He said no it’s too small. I’ve looked at the tire and have actually used it before just put it back because no tpms, but is their some truth to that? I thought saving some money and just buying 3 to use a worn out tire as the spare makes sense. I’m gonna have to get under the truck to take a closer look but I think they’re identical from the factory. Anyone have this experience? Picture for effect.

Your dealer is an idiot. Its the exact same 315 as the other 4.
Just buy a TPMS for it and use it in your regular rotation. Id buy 4 new ones and use the 5th in rotation
