Is solvent remover the same as adhesion promoter, or is that another step? If different steps, what order do those steps go in?
They are two separate chemicals. One to clean the surface, one to promote adhesion to the surface

Do you have a suggestion for the solvent remover? Is it really necessary to use the solvent remover for a brand new application where I've already sanded the surface down and used some alcohol to remove any dust?\

Also, what are your thoughts on the Rustoleum adhesion promoter? It's about 1/4 (or less) of the price of the Bulldog adhesion promoter.

You want to clean whatever you prepped before applying your material. As far as which is better, I’d refer to paint company you’re using to spray. We spray PPG at our body shop so I use their adhesion promoter and solvent wash
