Order Date, Build Date, Current Status of your Raptor

Ordered Dec 5th.... Nothing since. I have beadlocks in my order so I'm guessing I won't get a VIN/build date for a little bit. Oddly enough, my dealer hasn't reached out to me since I ordered to tell me that the beadlocks are delayed. I only know due to the forum/facebook...

I have bead locks and cf. My truck was built Nov 7th and as of last week Ford service said it was just released from the plant and I should be getting an eta any day. Guess we'll see.

Many of us actually have to tell our dealers about the delays. I had to tell mine about the CF issue, then he confirmed it with his zone rep.

If you plan to keep the beadlocks, no biggie. If not, give your dealer a call and give him the heads up. Have him confirm and adjust your order accordingly!

Problem is my dealer wants $3835 over MSRP. Someone bought one at $5000 over MSRP yesterday and the other networked dealers are marking theirs up at $10,000 over (Crossroads Fords in NC).

I don't know if I should try and fight for it or just tell them no. I already walked away once...

I paid MSRP at Parkway in Winston-Salem, they don't have any more allocations, but they are affiliated with Capital in Raleigh and Charlotte. Not sure if it would help talking to them. At one point they told me I was there only MSRP order. Good luck.

Did you agree to $3835 over MSRP when you ordered it? Or are they now trying to gouge you after agreeing to an MSRP deal?

Where in NC are you? I live in Fayetteville, put my $5k deposit down with the local dealership here who was asking $5k over MSRP but with my USAA car buying coupon and the $500 Ford Military Appreciation Cash offer I received it comes out to $2k over MSRP. They ordered 10 Raptors and none of them have come in. I looked at the 4 Raptors listed in the Cross Roads inventory and decided it just isn't worth it to buy one in stock versus wait it out with the rest of the early October builds.
