This was the first trip on my 15 years down there where it pretty much rained everyday. It was an entire different experience. The mud was a fun change but definitely got hairy at times.

Found some new routes ives never done before changes the set up on the truck a little to carry more gear and make the truck ride better.

Switched to the 37' KM3 tires. Wow what a difference from the Ko2. I was super hesitant switching based on the Moto "if its not broken don't fix it" But its a pretty big change. Only cons- the tires are noticeably heavier at high speeds but can live with that. Only brought 1 spare on this trip vs my normal two spares because I trusted this tire better.

Also had Dever make me a spring to carry my 1200 lbs of gear in the bed. Rides absolutely amazing. Even without all my gear inside the truck. The weight of the shell and tire rack keep it nice a smooth.

Here are some phots and a little 1 minute sizzle.

you're making me miss Baja more than I should be right now.

if you don't mind, could you PM me the general area of where that waterfall is? A waterfall is not something that I've ever come across in Baja and I'd love to go explore and find it.

rad footage and rad trip!

Looks like you had a great trip. My friends just got back from Baja 2 months ago.
When they had set up camp and were getting ready to cook dinner just past San Felipe, a couple of locals came over and and asked to borrow their wives. My friend declined. About a half hour later my friends started to receive incoming rounds though their camp. They exited quickly with their vehicles leaving all their gear and strait lined back to the California border.
I'm glad your trip went well but I don't think I will be heading down their anytime soon.

where just past san felipe? Where they on someone's ranch unbeknownst to them?

I've never experienced anything remotely like that. We usually pop out of the dirt near the airstrip/gas station 60 or so miles south of san felipe when cruising to san felipe from coco's and I'm not aware of anyone ever getting aggressive with any of our crew.
