I also hate mud flaps, but last year getting out then back in the truck during any snow fall my door handles would be packed full of snow.
Man, your not kidding about the snow filled door handles. I've got 130''+ of snow here this year. Every time I take out the Raptor the handles fill full of snow/slush and freeze. A pain in the ***! Bird, looking at your pics it appears from this side of the screen that you may still be getting shicockaah resting in the door handle?? BTW, thanks for the info & pics :happy107::waytogo:

I live where it rains about 9 months out of the year and see that a lot of the posts are related to mud and snow. So how well do they work for rain?

Driving down the freeway in the rain I can watch the sides being blasted using my side view mirrors and it really reminds me of a boat at speed by the way the spray pattern hits the bed sides.

Some pictures of my mudflaps. Same one as BIRDMANS. Instant improvement. Autozone doesn't have them on their website, local store said they didn't, and as soon as I got there they had 2 sets on the shelf...WTF. Fixed about 90-95% of the splash up of snow and water. I put on the front and back, first tried the fronts only, and loved the fact that cars behind me were getting sprayed a ton, but decided i liked the look of all 4. Truck is wet from recent car wash, not actual spray up of water/snow.

They look good Delt530! I'll probably get the same ones when mine comes in!

Birdman did all the leg work. I am just glad my autozone had them so I could do them the 1 day it was above freezing in months. Really glad i went with the rears...but really loved the amount of people driving behind me as i aim for the puddles and they had to turn on their wipers.

That's the reason why I won't put the rears on mine, I love to watch those A Holes having to turn on their wipers from following to close, I too aim for all the puddles and slush.
