I really think you need to look up the definition of the word, "proliferation". Because last time I counted, Raptor badging was on a grand total of 1 vehicle in the US.

Except that it's not. The Raptor badging is only available for a single vehicle per country in the global market. In the US it's the F150, in Australia, it's the Ranger. You simply cannot claim proliferation when there is literally one (read: A single) badge available.

So once again, I'll ask for proof. Where is it?

I feel like an outcast here, when I heard they were putting an ecoboost in the raptor I wanted one more then ever. But that’s just the nerd/engineer side of me geeking out. The next motor for the raptor with be a.... updated ecoboost

Likely with an electric motor for added torque as well. That seems to be the next big thing.

I’m not trying to fan fires but why would they rush a gen3? The gen2 is on its third year. Maybe it’s my Toyota history but shouldn’t gen lifelines be longer than 4 years?

The long life cycles seem to be part of Ford's biggest problems these days.People want the latest and greatest now. With the number of advances, 4 years seems like a long time now. Consider the average cell phone user upgrades every 30 months.

nope...I feel the same way. The coyote in my 15 Mustang GT was great....but the eco boost 3.5's are such a great motor. had one in my 13 SHO and my wife's 14 Ex Sport and her 18 Ex Sport. Excited to be a part of the next generation of that motor.

Just like there’s no proof that the 2017+ Ecoboost has the same cam phaser issues as the previous generation and there’s no proof that the charge air cooler needs a hole drilled in it to void the warranty for some baseless assumption there’s a problem.

Tell that to Toyota . They are on 10-12 year cycles.
The current tundra is the same as the 2008 . Still seems to sell.
