What has been happening pretty much every single time is the reverse camera is on as soon it turns on. Just got the truck today and didn't have the dead issue but it was only in the 30's. Had the reverse camera issue 5 times today though.

Thanks for making the decision to NOT go with NAV-TV. Sorry you're having issues!

Noah is sending me a replacement unit, will see if that resolves it. I am thinking it might not be the Nav-TV and if this doesn't fix then I am going to have to completely remove it before I take it into the dealership

I would suggest before installing the replacement Nav-TV unit, that you unhook the current Nav-TV unit so that you'd know if the MFT works fine by itself.

Can't unhook without tearing dash apart. If you look at Noah's previous post there is 4 wires to bypass but don't know what yet. Think he wants to go the replacement unit route first.

I hate to bring back an old thread, but it was left off unresolved.

I've had this problem ever since I installed the Nav-TV: cold weather and the screen/nav headunit will not turn on. I've seen a few threads across a couple of sites on this but they all just end without a cause or fix.

Was your problem the Nav-TV or the factory headunit itself? Did you do the 4 wire bypass?

I never did the wire bypass and just decided to pull the NAV-TV out. My thought was it was that and if I brought it to the dealer, they would of found it and voided my warranty (I have an ESP too). The rest of last years winter, never had a problem after removing it. It just now started getting cold again but it will be awhile for me to get my truck but will have it after January. I seriously doubt I will have issues though, it was the NAV-TV. Must of gotten one out of a bad batch or something.
