that is really badazz, and is making me wonder how badazz a matte blue would look lol

When I was first in his shop he was showing me the film and there was a dark blue car he was detailing and he slapped a 1'X1' square on it to show me how it looked / felt on a vehicle and it looked good! I liked it a lot.

My truck was originally supposed to be silver and I still think that would look good as well.

So the process is a lot slower than he thought it would be since this film doesn't handle in the same manner as the other X-Pel non-matte film he normally uses.. there was a learning curve for him and since he's so ****, it's taking him a while as he continues to spend half a day re-doing some of his previous work.

At this point we have the front done save the left front fender which he just peeled off to do over (lol) and the rear is complete, to include the tailgate and the bumper back on and in place.

So far it's looking amazing and can't wait for it to be finished! The grey fender flares actually look really good and match with the matte since this film gives the truck a ghosty grey kinda feel. I was initially going to have them Line-X'd but now I'm thinking I'm going to leave them alone.

Here are some updated shots from today..

hey green, sorry to thread jack for a moment but what size are your wheels /tires and which center caps did your wheels come with? any reason you have them off?
I been debating the split six but there are so many choices out there.

17X9 Split Sixes and 315X70R17 Goodyear Duratracs. The wheels came with the old style caps which I actually prefer. I have not put on the caps because I was having a major issue getting the right lug nuts that would fit properly. So at the moment I have lug nuts that work but they're too long for the caps. Once I get the proper lugs, I'll put the caps on since I really like them and think they finish off the wheel nicely.
