No problem! These should install very easily. My guess is once you take the lid off of the lower assembly, it will clamp the leather in place when you reattach it back down. At this point, I'm waiting on my leather lid cover to come in.... I won't know MUCH more until it arrives and I embroider it and install it....

So your selling just a piece of embroidered leather, right?
Then we need to install the leather over our existing consol lid?

How do they attach?

Yes, they need to be attached over the existing console, I will provide install instructions when my leather comes in, I embroider it and install it!

I understand you haven't installed yours yet, but can you help me understand how one would install it? At least I can get an idea of what is involved or how difficult it is to work with the leather. Mechanical stuff like removing the current console lid is easy.

I am thinking that they are like the F-250 lids. There is likely a retaining ring around the outside edge of the lid. You will need to take it apart so that you can see it. Once the bottom plate is off, you will see a ring around the outer edge that looks like an Oring. You slowly work that out of the groove, and you will see there are little teeth that are holding the Vinyl in place. At that point, you can pull off the vinyl, or leave it in place. You can put down a thin layer of foam, available at an Automotive fabric store. Most large cities have them, then work the leather into the groove and work the ring back in until each of the teeth click. Trim the leather, reassemble the lid, and it is all done.
If they are like the F250 lids, it is not super difficult to do. If it isn't, well, good luck.

I'm guessing that it will clamp in after You stretch it over the console lid. If not a little 3M tape will assist You while you attach it and stretch it over. I think the bottom assembly of the lid will clamp the leather in place. I'll have to wait and see to be honest
