Agreed there... I will initially be trying to not spend $30k in mods again.... but I know I would eventually anyway.

Much thanks, yep. I get the mod bug as well and it never stops itching.

Cool, good to know the bumper clearance isn't an issue with the tires. my 35's rubbed my stock bumper in my FJ, and I cut the body mount, hammered it and re-welded it.

I would hate to replace an already good suspension, but I would like to do a 3" lift at some point.

Dude, don't lift a raptor. I said 3.0's shock upgrade. Guys he made a mistake, he didn't mean it!

See if you would have done just a little searching you would have found 100 threads about not lifting a Raptor. Now we're going to see a ton of ball busting. and by the way that is a nice FJ build.

Run it's gonna get worse. Seriously though don't buy a Raptor if you're going to lift it.

My bad I misread that. I saw the 3.0 and thought 3".

That's my mistake.

After a quick thread search, I see what you are referring to. I was hoping I would get an adult to reply.

I believe a "Prospective Raptor Owners" section is for people to post questions. Yes I am glancing over the forum, but it would be nice for someone to answer simple questions rather than reading pages and pages and pages. In the time it took for you to be a cyber warrior, you could have answered my questions to be helpful.

The reason that you got the response that you did is everything you have asked has been covered ad nauseum (including spoon feeding multiple newbies...). We see the same threads started, covering the same issues, over and over and over... As one with over 400 posts on another forum, surely you have seen these types of issues before...

If you continue to use that handy search feature, you wouldn't need to post this thread at all.

While a few users here seem to have issues with the search feature on this site, I find it to be very helpful and should be able to pull up plenty of info on any of the questions you asked. If it doesn't get you the results you want, use Google with this preceding your search: site:fordraptorforum.com

Mhmm. I didn't think about looking up a lift, because I never even thought it would be worth it until I saw 3.0 and thought "hmm I will have to look." and posted before I looked and saw how god awful it 1. looks and 2. pointless it is.

As a member of many other forums, I have learned that if I wish to not answer repetitive questions, I simply stay out of those sections.. pretty simple. The way I look at it is if you are looking at those threads you should be looking to be helpful.

I have heard more people excited about the new v6 than against it in person.

Looking at the recent V6/V8 POLL and responses on here regarding the EB, I do not see how you arrived at the above...
