Hi All,

I am back in the market for a 2nd Gen Raptor. I previously owned a 2017 and had to part with it.

Anyhow the vehicle I am looking at looks to have the tow hooks removed, I am trying to figure out what is installed in place of them.

Please see picture below. (The truck is out of area so I can't get a closer look).

Thanks!

Hard to say for certain, but from the picture...They do not seem sturdy enough for pulling the truck. I would agree with @WH7 that it is likely for a light bar strip. May be easy to tell, if you look up in the openings and see if there is any wiring for a light bar?

Looks like a Blue Ox or similar 27ACDBAE-3E2E-42CD-A674-036E46794A17.pngbaseplate for towing behind an RV. There’s a fair amount more mounting than is visible. Plus, a 40,000 pound RV isn’t exactly jerking the truck with its aggressive off-the-line acceleration.

What is the connector sticking out of the driver-side of the front bumper? Circled in red. I assume it is associated with your question.
