Initially I thought I wanted blue, but after seeing one on the road and another at the dealership, I actually liked how the lighter colors highlighting the truck's aggressive styling. All of the details are hidden by the darker colors, but obviously my opinion is in the minority since black is far and away the most popular color.

I ended up with a white truck because it had the right options and price and am very happy with it. Red has more personality than white, but white really makes the truck's styling pop.

I also bought white and agree with your last comment. White with nothing done to it can be bland, but if you tint the windows and add black accents, it actually looks really sharp. In addition, if you are a perfectionist like me, white will not show scratches and swirl marks that will jump out at you on darker colors.

My current 2012 Raptor is white. It really hides the dirt well, and I only wash it maybe 3-4 times a year.

The 2018 Raptor I have on order is Lightning Blue.

White looks like a service truck. Just slap on a company name or city seal on the doors. Get the lightning blue

A white raptor looks like a work truck the same way James Bond in a tux looks like a waiter. While they are kind of similar, no one is going to mistake one for the other.
