Let’s be honest- The Raptor R is going to be expensive!

Don't see what they are missing from the 802, looks like they dropped the 800 from gen 2 and just started with the 801 from Gen 2 and called it 800. The 802 is now 801.

I just built a 21 with every available option including a smokers pack, wheel locks and the first aid kit...86430. I dont know what else they are going to add options, whats left.....I ballpark 25k for the V8 R as the gt500 is 20k more than the Mach1.

I still see it as a ~110k truck....not including the dealer markup, which if allocations are limited I expect to never go away and approach 50k in some markets...110k, I am cool with but I'd buy a TRX (and that aint EVER happening) before I'd pay ADM, realistically, there are a scht ton of toys I can add to the garage for 60K and keep my Gen2.
I was estimating the same $20k to $25k upcharge on the R. Let's not forget the GT 500's Carbon Fiber handling package at $10k or it's Carbon Fiber Track package at $18,500. With a few similar packages the R could easily climb up a extra $35k to $45k.
I'm just trying to figure out how to explain to my wife that I needed a $125,000 truck for work. Might want to hide the window sticker before bringing it home, Lol

I never told the wife what I paid for the gen2...I certainly am not telling if I buy an R lol

hey maybe the R will have a 10k option to upgrade to black from blue interior with the 37s :)

We have a ton of 100k trucks on this site but how many 130-150k trucks do you think we have? It's a pipe dream if you think you are getting an R for 100k
There are plenty of guys on this forum with $100k+ toy cars sitting next to their daily driven Raptors. (I’m not one of them unfortunately)

To go to a R, you would think Ford would add more than a v8 and a blower, what about racing seats and a roll bar, special off-road lights, better suspension, better tires for off-road ( no comfy latte sipping cruising), these are just a few ideas swirling around in my head, lol.

The base R will be under a 100k. But if you want windows, a radio, and tires it will be close to 110k
Will it come with a window net for under 100k, that’s all I need , oh and some wifi speakers and a standard transmission!

I know that but I didnt use that as an example for a reason. Most ppl are willing to pay much more for a toy exotic than they are for a toy truck. I'm one of those ppl

Cage will not happen, guaranteed. You'll crack your skull open on the cage in a wreck w/o a helmet. Ford can't sell that.

Maybe you'd see Ford do a cage on a "real" R that race teams would pay 150K+ for and could never be titled- but you will not see a cage in the "It Isn't Really A R Model It's Just A Name To Differentiate The V8 Option From The V6 Option On The Gen 13 F150 Raptor Package" trucks. R is shorter to say.
