With our kid, we went to best buy and bought the Rocketfish (I think...house brand anyway) Ipad mount that goes around the headrest posts. Stuck the IPad in it and let the kiddo go to town, it worked well and since we already had the IPad, cost us like $30.

I have a set of the cheap RCA mobile DVD players that we used in the wifes Expedition. They seem cheesy but actually take a beating and work great. Not sure if I'll use them on the Rap or not. I was planning to get the super spendy integrated headrest ones but after reading this, maybe an ipad and mount is the way to go....hmmm...

Oh! I almost forgot! Mine has a set of the inexpensive ($30) SkullCandy headphones and they are awesome! Seem to be comfortable and not having to listen to the movie is priceless!

as far as family vacations always fly... but for raptor runs, little sahara, etc.. their little butts stay at the grandparents house! no need for them seeing cineslr drunken on the midnight run, or subject to my driving! That would be child abuse!!! LOL
