Ford was able to delete the auto start stop on my truck even though I had a VIN.If you already have a vin can they delete the auto start stop?
Yes, from anecdotal information here, VIN doesn't seem to be the point where you can't change as previously thought. Several removed stop/start after they had a VIN. I had a VIN, but it was too late for my build. I would imagine how close you are to production matters more than if you have a VIN issued.Ford was able to delete the auto start stop on my truck even though I had a VIN.
I ordered mine when the banks opened up in June. It wasn't an option and the dealer never asked. But my window sticker says it's deleted. Changed about a week ago.If you already have a vin can they delete the auto start stop?
Same here, mine was a stock order. I think if it’s a stock order it automatically got it removed.I ordered mine when the banks opened up in June. It wasn't an option and the dealer never asked. But my window sticker says it's deleted. Changed about a week ago.
