I was close to going ZR2 Bison as it was my first choice in new vehicle last month as I have really wanted to experience the DSSV suspension for a long time now, but reviews ultimately pushed me toward Ranger Raptor due to motor, transmission, and steering.
In the end, however, no availability of the Ranger in the spec I wanted pushed me to move up to a F150 Raptor instead, as I saw an Antimatter Blue 802A at a local dealer I fell in love with. Ultimately purchased at a dealer a state away as the local one missed two options I wanted.

I have a F80 M3 as well and do prefer the sound of the M3 to the Raptor both at cruise and full throttle on a stock exhaust, but do have some diff whine from the dual diff mount I had installed which contributes to some of that sound.

Welcome on board, for me too when time was to take decision what truck to buy, ZR2 (bison or not) was a possibility, but why to be contented 2 ou 3 podium place when you can be first...

So the suspension on the Colorado with the DSSV was interesting but I would almost say it was more road-centric. Never got the chance to push the DSSV system in the dirt or over rocks, but there is a big dip in the road near my house that can really compress suspension and unload it. The colorado would hit it hard but settle in a non-confidence inspiring way. The Colorado with the Bison package came with hydraulic jounce controllers separate of the DSSV shocks and itreally made the suspension noisy and notchy.

Going to the Raptor, I can really feel how refined the suspension is from Ford. Being able to adjust the shocks on the fly is:

Theres a reason you dont see anyone running multimatic dssv gear at hammers or baja events. Ford went with fox which is a much more serviceable, swappable platform.

Welcome, I also went from a gmc to an Avy Raptor. Make sure you attend the Raptor Assault within a year so you can really see what your truck is capable of!

I also came from a Colorado Bison but with the diesel and the much better earlier 6 speed - really liked that truck and over 20k miles it never had a problem, but the back seats were so small and the kids were growing.
