back on topic, ive hit the trailer sway notification too. Takes over control of the truck and makes you decelerate, overides the gas pedal. Scared me the first it happened. Hasnt happened since.

I'm not in a hurry to experience it again.

I keep second guessing myself about buying a tuner because I know my truck will see time over 120. I know about the tire ratings and shit so I feel like I should just leave it. I had a couple modded up camaros when I was just out of high school and I remember my buddy and I joking one year about the fact after the car came out of storage I buried the speedo over 160 5 days in a row. I seem to hit the govenor on my truck every other day. No doubt that the raptor is a way better vehicle then those crap camaros but I am also not as care free as I was when I was 19. I dream about having a car that goes over 200! Someday!!!!! There is a guy that lives 3 doors down that has my dream car, a ZR1, one of the 1st things I asked him was "how fast have u had it" he said 105. That makes me soooooo sad!!!,

That's great! I have an F250 turbo diesel that has stage 5 injectors , CAI and headers. I run a bully dog tune, often bury the needle and can get it to wind around to 0. It is a SCREW with 8 ' bed. Sits a lot better at that speed than the raptor.

Me too and I didn't like it either. That last trip to Michigan it kicked in on the powerline road.

We had a guy up here recently taunting police for over a month. He would speed through rush hour traffic on the south shore, even going so far as to call the local state police barracks to tell them that they couldn't catch him. He was wrong.

They took him into custody with out incident. When I was a kid, if they caught you going that fast on a bike, you were garanteed to have been ripped off the bike by a trooper with his gun at your head. Now everything is on camera.

116/117mph according to GPS 5m on the 405 fwy at midnight when it was empty. 37" BFG Baja TAs and the SCT Hennessey Tune. Held it there for about 10 seconds then figured that was about all of my luck. I use manual shift so I can downshift to slow down without tapping the brakes that fast.
