How to tell time for new tires

Any tips? Last few weeks truck tires much louder on Highway. In 2 I slide and churp but I drive like a yahoo.

Stockers on my 2020 are starting to get loud on the hwy, approaching 40k, but have had a snow tire setup on for maybe 5-7k miles of that, I drive it pretty hard all the time, do some light towing, run it hard in 4a aloT & typically take the TC off lol

I just had em off yesterday as I put my winter setup on & noticed 2 of em are cupping? (Center of tread wearing quicker than outside) I probably would have realistically 5k miles more out of them. If I was running them in winter I probably would already replace. Seems like 35-40k isn’t abnormal for these to need replacing they supposedly have a 50k mileage warranty but whatever

BUT the stock ko2s lasted 55k
My current Falken AT3s are ******* amazing, nearly 100,000 on them and I have another 3/4inch tread.

So loud could be normal wear or just after a rotation. as you drive, the tread blocks wear asymmetrically, with the rear of the block wearing more than the front ( I think ). So, you rotate and then the tires suddenly produce a different and more noticeable sound, louder to your ears and possibly louder overall.

Several things increase tire wear, usually related to how hard you are on throttle, brake and directional inputs but there’s one thing at really wears tires unexpectedly: Heat cycling. This fatigues the tire compound and degrades the tire “stickiness”. You’re likely to notice this first in lower traction situations on pavement; cold, rain or both but over time you’ll observe it on warm, dry pavement.
