Being a member on both sites is NOT an issue to Clay, nor should it be. Recruiting, and trying to stir the pot between sites is obviously frowned upon! I'm an enthusiast before anything else, and the more information we all share, the better for the Raptor owners.

You're lieing to your self if you believe that crud. I was personally banned from the "other" forum for joining SVTO. I made about 2-3 post and none of them was trying to recruit anyone. My Raptor at the time was still on order and was talking to a member about his past BIg Bend trip. I know people who was banned and never posted once on the other site.

Sorry about my rant people. my intensions is to get better informed about the recent Raptor frame issues. So I'll continue reading this thread and reply when I finish.

Well I finally got the time to finish reading the thread. This is probably a first for me, I generally demand Cliff Notes on any thread longer than two pages. But there was a lot of worth reading material to keep me going till the end.

Anyhow, one thing I ran across that kept popping up was did someone pre-run the trip? As posted it was pre-ran but I wanted to post a picture of the truck that pre-ran the trail. If you look closely at the picture it actually seems to have a similarity with the bent frame trucks...in that there seems to be a larger gap between the cab and the top of the bed vs the cab and the bottom of the bed. My eyes could be playing tricks on me so I'll post it up and see what you all think.

Outlaw Raptor has another run setup for the 23rd of July, same frame bending route. In the text it states :

"Day 2 will be flat out with speeds reaching 110mph+ with a ton of g-outs and kickers. This will be meant for those who want to challenge themselves to what is simular to off road race conditions"

These guys are going to get someone killed!

Here's the link.
