We have seen renderings, we know the power plant lineup for the ‘21 F-150. We know Ford has been testing a multi link coil rear. When was the last time Ford advertised the Raptor? Do they? People who want it, know of it and buy it.

It almost sounds like it’s going to have the new 3.5PB engine with about 500HP/600+TQ. Almost like the writing is on the wall.

Would they later get crazy with a variant to run against the TRX? Only thing the TRX May do better is put out more power. That remains to be seen. Ford may not care either. Electric down the road may deliver 1000TQ. But offer EB-PB for people who want it.

But Duratracs are way better than KO2s in snow, rain and mud.

As compared to a shagged set of stock tires? or what?
It’s easy to put on new tires and come to the conclusion they stick better or dig better than the previous ones. Unless we’re swapping tires every 2500 miles or so to do the comparison, it’s just subjective though.

I was comparing them to the new KO2's that came on my 2017. i put 18K miles on the KO2s and 24K miles on the Duratracs. I have 4500 miles on the KO2s on my 2020.

What’s funny is the new Power Wagons come with Duratracs, and most the guys on those forums complain about them because lack of wear, and when on rocks and things they chunk up and are prone to flats. I think a lot of it has to do with what truck you have and the use it gets. My last two trucks were HD Rams (2004 Hemi w/ 35” tires and then a 2012 Power Wagon with 285/75/17’s) and neither truck saw over 30,000 miles on a set of tires (those heavy bastards destroyed tires). I’m really curious to see how the tires on my Raptor do.

I've had the same set of Duratracs on my Bronco for 6 years, they only have 25K miles and about half tread. I may have to replace them for old age before they wear out.

Yes, I did puncture the OEM load range C tires, several times. I don’t remember exactly how many times it was, more than three for sure, and I do not count near end of life since many tires become more susceptible when well worn. Under the same conditions so far I have punctured the new tires once. As they age I expect this will increase, but since I have already gone further on the new tires than the entire life of the old tires I can say I have had significantly fewer punctures on the new tires.

Yeah, I don’t know how much faith I’d put in that. I have some pretty good sources too. Including one of my suppliers who I can’t name because they told me in confidence. They are a major US parts supplier who signed a multimillion dollar contract to supply parts as factory options on the 2021 Raptor and have already begun producing the parts and a huge investment to do so. Secondly, I was told the 2021 is supposed to be a 3rd generation Raptor. So the 2020 is the last year for the 2nd gen. That may be where the confusion is from. Originally I heard Rumors 2021 would be skipped, but according to a few sources, including the one with the contract to supply for the new one, the 2021 will be out. I believe it will be late spring/early summer.

I contacted my dealer yesterday in regards to ordering a 2021 and the GM stated there would not be a 2021 model year. Any information on a 2022 MY would be just speculation.

Hopefully it will be back in 22/23 model year.
