Just for arguments sake - I wonder what the mpg would be if they shoved a 6.2L into the new truck? Little lighter overall (300 lbs) and the 10 speed trans would surely equate to higher mpg, don't you think? Maybe even get close to the supposed gains that we are seeing now with the TTV6.....

I honestly think it would be worse if the rpm's dropped much. Mine seemed to run right in the sweet spot on the highway and I think if the rpms were much lower the fuel economy would suffer. Interesting thought though!

I thought the tremor package was the 2wd truck that was kind of like a new lightning?

I can't say I've seen very many but for some reason I was thinking they were all 2wd and sat pretty low to the ground like the older lightnings.

I'm still confused to why you're quoted me earlier. Is your truck the 5.0L and you were going along with what I was saying or what?

All Tremors have the 3.5 Ecoboost.

I quoted you because you said "Ecoboost trucks with similar height and wheels/tires struggled to get 13 at interstate speeds." and that wasn't true with my 2011 Eco or my 2014 Tremor Eco.

there is no replacement for displacement in the long run. twin turbo means higher maintenance cost and replacement down the road.

Also mileage went up to 15 City / 18 Hwy 16 Combined.

Pretty much what my wife gets with her 2015 XSport and she has a lead foot (city driving). Amazing Ford calls these engines "eco-boost" when there is really nothing economic about them... haha.

it's already been proven that with minor mods, these will make north of 650 hp no prob.

Minor mods will add 200 hp? I gotta see these 'minor' mods...
