Thanks guys. No led's, no ccfl's just a clean factory look is what Im going for. The first 2 sets are already spoken for but I should be able to put them out pretty quickly for others interested. Best part is I can offer them with zero down time for those who use their trucks as daily drivers. Im also thinking of doing a discount for FRF supporting members. :peace:

Ill update soon when they are installed with a bunch of pics.

Since the reflector is now for looks, I wonder how it would look painted black. I like the blacked out headlights. Surely nightshade would stick to that reflector since heat would not be a factor now.

This was on TRS forum pics, to give you a idea what it would look like - since the headlights are apart I can totally paint the reflector, the shroud, the bezel any color and also tint the amber reflector

Nice work as usual Duc!
I'm thinking about doing this as a fun project with my Dad but if that doesn't pan out I'm totally in for a set!

I really like the look of the projector in the stock housing - looks factory. I'm also thinking about a DIY project for myself - just because I love to get stuck in. Since I don't even have a truck yet (on order since 11/11/11), would you mind sharing some internal pics, totally understand if you don't want to. Also, how hard is it to break open the headlight?

Nice, the big pain is getting them open without mangling the headlight. It gets easier though after you do it a few times. There is a little dremeling required to get the projector to fit properly but its not that bad. If you do decide to tackle it let me know, Ill share some of my little tricks, lol. If not Ill be happy to build you a set.

Haha Brit, you posted while I was typing but pretty much what I told Cine... Im not doing it to make a living, I'd rather hook you guys up with some quality headlights at a reasonable price or help you do it yourself.
