Might not be hydro lock at all. I think he said "oil leaking out of that screw thing" or something like that. Could be just lost oil pressure from a leak and 100% warranty.

Your only mistake was not playing dumb. You need to let them figure out what happened. You shouldn't have even mentioned water or a puddle. Actually, everyone here is filling in the blanks, the Raptor may have been leaking oil days earlier and you didn't notice it, but now everyone is jumping to conclusions saying you hydro -locked it, and the dealership may jump to the same conclusion.

If you want to be "that guy" and make a huge deal out of it at the dealership, they will fix it , just to get you out of there hair, if all else fails.

Im sorry but there is about 0 chance that is what happened.

The puddle, the stall, the restart, the marble sounds, and the oil leaking is all indicative of him getting hydro lock then blowing a rod out the bottom of the engine.

Yeah it could have just been a coincidence right in the tiny puddle...I'm feeling like I could have a good day tomorrow or a bad one, but this morning I was convinced it would be a terrible day tomorrow. Thanks for all the help. I'll keep u posted. Here is a picture I never thought was possible...

Yeah...and if the dealer starts jerking you around...post the name and number of the service manager and the dealer owner and we will all give them a call for you...

Like JV said you've got everything going inmyou favor...

This will not be a Dealer call. Ford will be directly involved make no mistake. Speak for yourself when talking about calling a Ford Store and making an arse of yourself. Learn how these things work first then make comments.. I know you have good intentions but no reason to blow rose colored smoke up the poor OP's shorts lol.

Imagine that the service engineer will be looking at this (think FSE is the term) been there done that. Have had Ford buy back 2 vehicles from me over the years and being somewhat familiar with the process can tell you they will be going through this with a fine tooth comb and if there is no failure of a covered part it will be attributed to the operator.

You are absolutely correct, it is a long drawn out process..

With the truck not running you would have no vacuum to disengage the front drive shafts?
