i for sure didnt violate this!

Straight from the 2013 F-150 Raptor Supplement

Water Depth Maximum Allowable Vehicle Speed

6 inches (150 millimeters) 40 mph (65 km/h)
8 inches (200 millimeters) 31 mph (50 km/h)
10 inches (250 millimeters) 19 mph (30 km/h)
12 inches (300 millimeters) 8 mph (12 km/h)
18 to 30 inches
(450 millimeters to 760 millimeters) 4 mph (7 km/h)
Reverse – up to 30 inches (760 millimeters) Less than 6 mph (10 km/h)

Like I said before, I was max doing 30mph and the water was never more than 1/4 part of the truck... Seems like it would be hard for ford to say, I was going 50 or whatever speed so the water that got in was my fault. I would say prove it! I'm happy to admit fault but mud puddles shouldn't do this to a vehicle let alone a Raptor. I'm not blaming Ford either...I want my raptor back, but I think there might have been a defect that allowed the water to get where it shouldn't have.

Hey typster, You have a lot of things on your side new truck with low miles and a warranty, no mods like CAI or tune. Hell if you cant drive through a mud puddle with the stock Raptor I would suggest getting a CAI with a Hydrolock shield (sock) to prevent water from entering the engine.

Thanks for the bit of hope! I guess it wouldn't be the end of the world to use my insurance for the 1st time in my life. I've bought the insurance companies 3 or 4 cars by now...maybe its time for them to buy me one. :]

You should get warranty, act totally dumb when you talk to the dealer, tell them you were on the hwy and it was pouring rain, let us know what they say.
