Since President Trump is technically my boss as the commander in chief. I left a VM at the white house for him to call me and negotiate the art of the deal with the dealer, I mean thats using resources right lol? I can tell the GM Donald will be calling them to negotiate this deal and get this fixed for me. If he says Donald who???? I know 1. He's a liberal and this is going to be a pain in the ass and he wants me to buy a prius... 2. If I just say 45 and 47. That Donald..and he knows ...and says wait wait wait. I called Ford and your 2026 is ready for you to order get a R even if you want and you're getting a 10 year 200k warranty from Ford with it lol , then ill know that he knows...Donald is my boss and he doesn't wanna mess with the master negotiaor.

Trump is definitely the guy you want negotiating for you.

out of curiosity, not sure if you know, but were the old style phasers still in the truck? @Meat2022

I just got mine at 100k, had to do phasers (did the whole timing system + new harmonic balancer and a ton of other stuff). just curious because I keep hearing about failed engines due to broken cranks lately

Yeah they did the new part # and then later the update was done. I got the oasis report from Ford before I bought it. Pinion bearing failure, valve body , and cam phasers were 3 of the issues they addressed under warranty at Ford, thats the report.1000001328.jpg

damn man... scary. especially for someone who just did their own VCT / timing rebuild

glad to hear you're getting taken care of though
If I wouldn't have seen the oasis report I wouldn't of touched the truck, my other issues were warning signs I guess but with a warranty I wasn't stressing to much and the dealership promising to take care of it,only for them to throw in the towel and tell me to use my warranty for a pre existing issue before I purchased the truck. Then boom main bearing goes and here I am since the middle of Feb without my truck ,making payments, insurance, not able to sell my gen 1 paying on it too and full coverage insurance still..and then find out I dont even have a warranty....which is still in the financing of my gen2. The truck cab went back on this morning, so I should be getting it back by wed. Then the real interesting part of this is going to beging.

So that was an update on the progress also lol, so when they put the cab on I was told the truck got a new manifold put on as well, not sure if that's an exhaust manifold or intake manifold. Haven't got am answer on that yet.
