Temp vin means partial vin. The order has been pulled for scheduling but hasn't received an exact build week yet. You should know the scheduled build week within about a week.

Unfortunately when people ordered really won't help you figure out when your truck will get scheduled. For example we got allocation for 4 trucks. So our person that's 4th on our list may wait 6 or 8 months til they see their truck. If someone ordered at the same time through another dealer and was 4th on that dealers list of maybe 15 units. They would get their truck much sooner. Ask your dealer where you are in their line of allocation.

Number 12 of 22 at my dealer, I'm hoping it's here by January

I don't know that you'll see it by January. That will only be 4 months into the build cycle and you're just past 1/2 way with their allocation #'s. That's only speculation though. If there aren't any issues that cause any delays when they start building the trucks you could possibly see it by January. hard to tell at this point. Hopefully everything goes smooth and your truck shows up in January for you.

Why Jan delivery for a Oct build date? It doesn't take 3 months to build a truck.

Thanks, I also kept the Carbon Fiber on my build, hoping it is available by the time my turn rolls around and if not my dealer calls to tell me to remove it.

I don't think he has a build date yet. That's why he's trying to figure out when his unit may get built based on his spot in line with the dealer he ordered from.

Gladly.

I haven't seen anything saying the Carbon Fiber package was a problem other than on line.

Because unlike other F150's, Raptors are leisurely carved by hand from a single block of aluminum by a pair of trained sloths.

That could quite possibly be. But I'd me more inclined to say because we got 4 units allocated they will be spread out over the years production. That's how its gone in the past with any model line that they give us our yearly allocation number up front.

Interesting, I was wondering if they spread the allocations over the year compared to other F150's or if they took orders based on priority. I would think all of the retail Raptor orders would be priority over the stock f150's, hence they'd be here sooner than later but not the case if they're spread over the year.
