Took delivery….things have gone terribly wrong

Yeah they are sending it to be repaired, obviously I’m sure they will be losing money on it, the owner said he paid a pretty penny for it himself.

Hard to fault the dealer for anything at this point. Maybe knowing ahead of time, maybe, but at least they are making it right.

Them knowing about this ahead of time, I’m thinking is unlikely now considering how they have handled this whole situation. Nothing but respect for them at this point. No shady used dealer would take that truck back without a serious fight after selling it technically “as is”. Not only did they take it back but they are making the necessary repairs before relisting it. This isn’t your average used car dealer either, they deal high end, low mileage, rare cars. I initially assumed they knew, however as they have navigated this mess, I feel the complete opposite now.

I was thinking the same thing. Ring problem started on your way home. It is nice to know someone out there still cares about the customer and their own reputation.
