I know this has been discussed a lot.
I did my first change today, and you guys weren't kidding. I'm 66 and have been doing my own maintenance since I as a kid.
This was by far the messiest job ever.
In went the Fumoto 137N.
Spent 20 min spraying the skids with simple green and hose to get all the oil out.
This is my first Fumoto. Do you really only tighten it 1/8 turn past hand tight?
Seems like not much.

I've changed oil on my own vehicles all my life. I'm not your age yet but I did exactly one self change on my Raptor.

Now I buy the oil and filter I want and take it to a quick change shop where I can walk around and watch. 25 bucks is way worth the no mess on my driveway and truck.

Not convinced I want a quick dump oil valve protecting my engine.

It's funny I sold my Raptir but still remain a loyal fan of this sight. Every vehicle I own gets the fumoto valve at first oil change. I have not done a oil change on the v6 I swore I would never have to say I should have gotten a v8. So I wait on Ford and the v8 upgrade. But in the meantime I still own the hellcat I sold the Raptor to buy. Nothing like hitting the go peddle in that car. But oil changes at the dealer only cost 279.99. Yes that's right i think they use unicorn tears or some shit. So i change mine myself pita but costs about 50.00 in parts. Makes me laugh when some one talks about 25.99 oil changes.. But looking forward to a new v8 Raptor one day..

I provide the oil and filter. My shop does the work including checking everything from brake liner depth, tire pressure and other fluid levels for a mere $17.63. Well worth it!

I just went on their website. Did you buy the F150 3.5 turbo version? the Raptor specific is not on there and no 3.5 TT is on there either.
Thanks

I ran a Fumoto on my Cummins Diesel engine for 12 years, never had an issue. I probably won’t run one on my Raptor only because I’m planning on the Ford premium maintenance plan for the Raptor. I can’t depend on the oil change kid at the dealer not to screw up something other than the standard drain plug.

Think this only fits the plastic oil pan? Correct?

How slow does it drain? Painful?

I believe so, I had the plastic pan on my old 2018. You have control of the flow. Painless. I only did one oil change with this valve before I sold the truck.
