Have you had that happen with Penfed? I was planning on going through them since they have very low rate, I opened an account just to do so.
I’ve financed with them before... they aren’t bad at all. Just they advertise just like everyone else like the picture that was posted early from a credit union. They advertise low rates but you have to read the fine print. Usually includes a discount for using their car buying service which is useless on a raptor order and auto payments etc. So far they had the lowest rates from what I’ve seen around last I looked. But places are always running deals so just have to keep an eye out once gets closer to delivery

Yeah, they all do that. Pentagon is by far the best though (from my experience). When you read their fine print it’s the rate quoted but they’ll word it like up to 1.89% or something like that.

Currently penfed running 1.99% for 48&60 mo term and 2.39% for 72mo. Didn’t see anything regarding auto payment or anything else... last I looked that was best deals around. Post if you find better that can be taken advantage of nationally.

Ford Credit doesn't run any special rates on Raptors, GT 500s, GT 350s, or other vehicles that rarely sit on lots.

RBFCU has 1.95% @ 60 but the way they display it seems a bit funny. You be the judge…

Finance and the do motorefi through their website. Or wait until October where a ton of credit unions want to push their #’s and offer 1% below your current rate.

Hey Dan, thanks for posting your question and generating such an interesting discussion! I've always done my best to avoid loans, as they sometimes come with very harsh conditions and get you in deep trouble after a while. However, I must admit that sometimes taking out a loan is necessary. It also depends on the assistance quality that you get before making this decision. I obtained a mortgage to purchase my first house not long ago, and I was kindly helped by the Mortgage Broker Coventry staff to get the best possible deal. Therefore, if Ford Credit is reliable, you should definitely go for it! Cheers.
