What are you getting instead of the Edge?

2024 Toyota 4Runner TRD. Totally different type of vehicle, old tech/design, but should last way longer than most other vehicles being produced currently including Toyota's new re-designs they've been struggling with. Picked it up Wednesday evening... nice having a second off-road capable vehicle in the stable. Does look weird in-between our 21' Raptor and my 96' F-150.

And yes when I pay 80 or a 120k for a vehicle I don’t expect it to sound like the shocks are blown out and stuck in one exhaust mode. I work hard for my money.
I’ve lost count of how many times this statement has been made by me and many others on this forum. But it won’t matter to the ford fanbois, they’ll still come after you for questioning their diety. It won’t be long before someone comments that this is all your fault.

1998 f250 SD, still driving it over 100k miles, other than the crap exhaust manifold bolts that snap off it’s been a good truck. 2012 svt screw raptor that I bolted a Whipple on to, still driving, 92k miles, had to replace the integrated wheel ends, no other issues that I didn’t cause. 23 R 7k miles that’s running like a champ. Sounds like you have some crazy bad luck. Drive nothing but chevys at work half the year, most have been great, less the new diesels, one has sucked the whole time.

Not sure Ford could have worse QC at this point.

1st Raptor 2023 35- shock clunk and live exhaust didn’t work. Ultimately traded in due to the issues. Later TSB’s were issued.

2nd Raptor 2023 35”- One headlight didn’t work for a year. 3 dealers 6 headlight modules-pulled over multiple times by police. Side view mirror stayed dim. AC fan in seat stopped working

3rd Raptor R 2024- CURRENTLY BEING BOUGHT BACK, check engine light came on during the ride home from the dealer. 2 dealers 5 trips no resolution. Vehicle has been at the dealer more then Ive had it in my possession. Most recent update Ford engineer told them to compare to a similar vehicle which the dealer obviously doesn’t have. Sent home from the dealer with a key that didn’t work…left stranded with both kiddos. Fob had to replaced.

Currently on the way to Utah for the Raptor Assault but no vehicle to come home to.

They are very capable and unique vehicles but come on ford 3 times in a row with terrible QC two of the three raptors were not drivable. Not one call from anyone at ford.

I waited over a year for the R allocation.

Nothing really comparable to replace the vehicle with but I dunno if it’s worth risking it for another go around.
Man tough go. Either bad series of events or you're blessed as a walking EMP and the Men in Black will be seeking your skillset soon!

Brand loyalty is idiotic…you are the customer with all the power and they work for you. Whoever has the best product gets the money. The tribalism is by design to manipulate people and customers shouldn’t play the game.
