Ford Axes the 6.2

Everybody oohh'd and ahhh'd over how badass the Atlas concept was and now that they did very minor tweaks to it and essentially made the concept a production vehicle everybody is bitching. Guess Ford can't please everybody lol

Just throwing it out there. I heard the rumor was that the 2016 Raptor was most likely going to come with Fox 3.0s. As well, the last I had read SVT was pretty sure they were going to stay with the 6.2. They were worried about turbos getting hot with sustained high RPMs.

I've heard that rumor too. I heard the 6.2 may end up an option on the Raptor and the EB standard. I would bet Ford sells not EB Raptors than 6.2 Raptors if there was an option.

The Fox 3.0's is an interesting rumor. Hopefully they'll bolt right up to our trucks but I doubt it.

They'd probably be more expensive than aftermarket anyway.

They had rumors of the 3.0,s for 2013 and then 14, Ford won't do it unless they can do it cheap.
