Finally bought my truck, but’s out of state

Does anyone have experience with shipping these? Or recommendations for shippers?

I need to arrange shipping from Iowa to Utah where I live. It’s brand new at a ford dealership. How do dealers move these around without damage?

Intercity Lines is excellent especially the driver communication thru-out the trip.Reliable Carriers are good also. Both ship in enclosed trailers.

I just used: United Routes in past the month or 2, had a car shipped (enclosed) from CA to MT. Bought a new vehicle from a Ford dealer in CA.

United provided great customer service, the rep was very easy to get a hold of from start to finish. I remember filling out online quotes for 3 different companies, United was the only one that actually called me to make sure I received my quote and see if I had questions, and they weren't pushy at all.

From what I remember once you commit, they guarantee pick up within 72 hours and once rig is picked up, I was guaranteed delivery within something like 5-7 days.

Wound up being much cheaper than flight plus 2 days of driving and expenses tied in with this, plus time off work. And now, with risk of stating obvious; you have to worry about weather.

United picked up at the Ford dealer, and while they would have delivered to my house I opted just to meet them at a convenience location off the interstate.

It would be cheaper, we bought in Missouri, flew out, free Hotel, drove it home to Santa Barbara, CA, and saved thousands while having a great time.

I would fly in and drive home. You get to break it in on the road and you can stay overnight in motels for less than $70 per night. It drives great in snow so unless a blizzard, weather should not interfere with travel back
The trucking industry is not what it used to be , and unless you go with the best and pay $$$$ , you will get what you pay for.

When I bought mine a few months ago it was located in Ohio. I rented a car and drove from Wisconsin to pick it up, then drove my baby home. Granted it's a bit further from Iowa to Utah but it depends on how much time you have, really.

Go get your truck and drive it home. I picked mine up in Houston and then drove it home to northeastern KY the next day. Really got a good feel for the truck over that 1k drive home

Bought my 2019 loaded SCREW without graphics in Fremont Nebraska when I was doing disaster relief mud out from the Missouri River flooding in May. Traded in a 2011 Audi S4 with 80K that I drove up from Tucson for the DR. The dealer took great care of me! The 1,400 mi break-in drive back home was fantastic way to bond and become one with the truck. Worth it if you can afford the time! Pic during drive back to Tucson.
