I'm not sure that the 3/4" spacers was needed, as I wanted small amount of rake to remain, but I feel like it's very close to level at this point.

It is not.
Thank you for the quick response. I think I will give this a try with just the SDI top hat and if it is not what I am looking for can always add the 3/4 in the rear.

STH did you ever get the top hats on? Any pics with just the hats and then with the spacer in the rear if you went that route?

I have been traveling for work and have not had the time to get this started. Will look into it early next year when work slows down for a couple of months. Still on my top 10 to do list though

I’ve been running the 23 37PP with SDI tophat and 1.5" Eibach springs (Non-HD springs) for about five months now. The ride is still very close to factory ride.

Photos:

  1. First picture: Side view of the current setup with the SDI tophat and 1.5" Eibach springs.
  2. Second picture: SDI tophat with factory springs and UCA. (Factory UCA angle was too low)
  3. Third picture: with new RPG UCA.
  4. Last picture: Eibach 1.5" Non-HD springs in rear.
While this setup works well overall, I’m thinking about switching to Foutz tophats with Geiser springs on all four corners. The Geiser springs are about 10% stiffer, which is what I’m after since my current setup leaves the front end too high when I load up the bed.

Hope this helps anyone considering similar changes!

I have SDI top hats and 3/4” Foutz rear spacers.

Initially I just did the SDI top hats, and the truck was front high. I couldn’t deal with the squatted look, so added the rear 3/4 spacers and now it sits level, just the way I like it.

If you want to maintain a rake, you may want to go with a larger rear spacer.

Just got the FMI phase 1 top hats and kmc mesa monoblocks put on today. 1.5 inches of lift. Same as sdi but doesn’t sit as low. Still got 1.5 of lift. Great alternative to sdi since it’s out of stock sometimes. I removed 1” eibachs. I’m looking to put 1/2 or 3/4 rear spacer to give it a little more rake. Rides great, but question to anybody that knows how these springs are oriented. There’s a gap in between the coil and the rubber stop up top. Do you guys know if this is normal and if it is should I ask them to twist it to the back side? The passenger side is put towards the back. It just looks weird to me. And shit I hope they are not upside down! Is there a right side up on factory springs? I know there was with the eibachs.

First picture is driver side, second picture is passenger
