Yeah we had to turn the svc adjusters down to clear the axle at droop.

Okay I have posted this before butttt, There 3 custom parts , but mostly off the shelf, the 3/8" thick base pad is custom cut. And the top hat has a custom part with a bearing seat that the spring spins as it compress. Same principle as a torsion release bearing like a road car. But sealed for off road. The springs are coaxial with the shaft and The top hats also set the top of the shock inboard by 10mm which gives it a bit more travel because of the motion ratio change and also helps with spring clearance at droop.

That's absolutely BRILLIANT SCSVT, both parts, the offset AND the sealed bearing spring cap. I'm of the belief all coil springs should have a bearing, which makes them much smoother responding to little hits since coil spring bind is relieved. I'm interested in how the sealed ball bearing will hold up, because it seems they don't take a radial load like that very well. My motocross bikes steering stems, which see incredible load in that direction and take it well because they used Timken tapered roller bearings. They handle the side load better.

Just a thought for V2.0....

I am on the 3rd set of bearings, none of them had too much wear, but I change them every so often like shock rebuild or revlaving for the exact reasons you posted.

As far as rev 2, I would love to use a tapered like you posted, but this G2 shock fussin about is done on my truck... except I keep messing with valveing but really Rev 2 will never happen for me the bearings are afordable so they just get consumed when convenient.

The "New Icon springs" just arrived!!!

Unfortunately, they sent the right accessories box, with the wrong springs
Upon further investigation, it seems they sent the correct box of accessories for a 2010-2014 Raptor SCREW, and 1 correct Raptor spring, + a "bonus" spring that's designed for those pigboat Dodge 3500 series diesel trucks.

Normally a wrong part is no big deal. But a big ass leaf spring is part way to a hassle

Forgive me SCSVT for mixing you up with TomDirt!

You're on your 3rd set, and how many miles and how hard of off-road/air time did they see? That's great you know they work!
