Well... excepting New Jersey, there the paid peasantry fuel filling enforcement crew pump your gas, and you’ll like it.

Same in Oregon. I get into trouble every time I'm there because I forget.

there's no problem with the pumps in California, your trucks are broken. 3 years never an issue with the chevron pumps. 30+ posts on pumping gas.?.

Oregon sucks, was there earlier this week and one attendant and like 8 cars. I just said screw it and pulled up and started pumping. The attendant looked the other way and said his help disappeared.

Was in Hawaii a few weeks ago and they don't even have the latches. You can tell they purposely take them off. I am watching every one there hold the handle, screw that, luckily the rental car still had a gas cap so jammed that between the guard and the lever and then took care of the windows. I was funny a few looks I got that people seemed amazed I was able to keep the gas pumping after walking away.

Like someone else said, I don't remember where I was, but it was with the Raptor and the nozzle just wouldn't stay in. Turned it upside down and stayed in just fine. Just got to learn with the different ones like!

Happens a lot on my 986. You adjust the nozzle, BFD.

Good god, is common sense dead? Splashback is turning it off. Move the nozzle a little bit, in, out, sideways, upside down...that doesn't work, slow the rate of flow. It's like your GF/wife, find the sweet spot and return there every time.

And NEVER top off your tank you run the risk of putting liquid gas into the evap system and ******** it up. I won't assume everyone knows that....ugh
