My first vehicle without a gas cap, and I have to hold the filler to prevent it from shutting off. Is there a trick to this? 36 gallons on slow ass CA pumps is annoying.
Same experience on my first fill-up. Found I had to insert nozzle than give a good downward shove to seat properly.

Wow, never even thought about it until this post. No issues traveling up/down the East coast.

Stick it in, start pump, go in and get snacks, come out, replace handle....leave.

Well... excepting New Jersey, there the paid peasantry fuel filling enforcement crew pump your gas, and you’ll like it.
