Filling tank without holding nozzle

This appears to be a CA thing.



I'm in CA and rarely have an issue. Every once in a while I've had it shut off before being full, but it's certainly not an issue on every fill up.

There's an diagram from Ford of nozzle tips that work with the capless set up and those that don't work well (cause shut off)

I don't have to hold mine ever, so it has nothing to do with the capless system.

But I don't live in Kalifornia, thank God.

Yeah, they kick back on some pumps and stop. It seems like the interaction between the vapor recovery system and Cap less design. Annoying.
