Glad they were able to identify the problem and handle it. Hopefully your raptor ownership will be worry free from here on out.

I would seriously bet that a good amount of these raptor horror stories are #fakenews created by Sasquatch.

He likes every one of the threads that has raptor issues and posts in almost all of them.

Unless the thread is started by a member whose been here for a while, all the threads are from members who joined within the past 6 months or so. They have no substantial posts other than an intro. The first main post they put up is about the raptor issue.

Sure there's been a few pictures in the threads, but none really that 100% establish they came from the poster. They could have been picked up elsewhere.

We are gettin' Sasquatched.

6 miles the loom on the harness burned up..... Right

So when somebody like myself reads the forum for the past year and decides to purchase a Raptor based on comments and reviews on here then it breaks down are you saying my first experience of the Truck should not be posted ? Not quite understanding the merit of your comments ? I love Ford as a brand , My dealer could not be more helpful , Ford have reacted wonderfully , and now I am about to get my yet unused Raptor back and enjoy it . Am I allowed to post my thoughts on the truck as my ownership progresses ? I think you should look at my post as being helpful as if the lugs holding the loom on my truck were not pushed in causing it to come loose and fail then my post may help other Raptor owners. As I said my stable of Ford is vast , I turned to here for expert advice and feedback. I was warned posting on a forum may prompt negative results which is sad as a lover of the Ford Brand where else does one go !!

Thanks for the feedback and help

Sadly, this will be the norm going forward. The ecoboost engine will destroy the Raptor name.

WHY ? its a superb engine

Most of us have made our FRF experience much more pleasant by putting Sasquatch on our ignore lists. Much quieter and easier to sort through the chaff.

Hi I think I agree , I guess he does not like Ford so perhaps should simply leave the forum and not offend anymore people. I find his comments equally unhelpful and rude. Now looking forward to driving my new 2017 Raptor !!

My Ford dealer kindly sent a picture of the offending part that was shutting down the Raptor. It was located next to the air conditioning unit it transpires. They contacted Ford HQ and researched the fault internally and its the first one of its kind so no data on this failure previous on Fords database. A new loom was sent in from Ford and fitted and all retaining clips made secure as they had been left loose at Ford HQ. I guess my post may help other members as a quick glance of all lugs securing the loom will negate potential failures down the road. Now excited to finally get to use my Truck !
Wow. Burned af.

Glad they found the problem.
