so i guess since i contacted a lawyer which i am not represented by them they essentially contacted ford for me since i couldnt get any answers i have been informed by crystal that she cannot assist me! i am not represented and no longer in contact with any legal services im feeling stuck :(
So, lets see if I understand this correctly: when 4x4 hi disengages, you hear popping sounds?? How long do they last? Are you switching from a dead stop into 2 hi, try it in neutral and wait 5 secs, does it still do it? Narrow it down with a bit more info and we might be able to help a bit more with a solution. I understand your frustration though.

i wait well beyond 5 seconds at a stop then they told me to wander the steering wheel back and forth to engage but as soon as I'm not on flat ground or descending the loudest pop or bang noise i have ever heard starts to happen and the 4x4 disengages

Valley Ford had my truck Harris ford had my truck as well as another ford i don't recall the name but i mostly dealt with valley, they said and i have this on film them saying that they were told from ford they "could no longer throw parts at it" and the engineer that investigated wrote in his report the noise is normal but i also have video of the tech he worked with saying that the engineer said its not fixed1 so I'm not sure whats going on! the tech is trying to get my warranty extended, but they stopped working on my truck while there was still 23,000 miles on on the warranty

I'm going to buy another vehicle tomorrow paying cash as i always do, i need a 4x4 vehicle due to my business and where i live and and declining weather conditions I'm torn because i love my Raptor and i can buy a brand new one for $13,000 less than i paid for my current one! but i am very afraid of this scenario happening again "buying a lemon" or "Breach of warranty" so I'm still leaning towards a Raptor but there is also a ford F150 FXT designed by tuscany it's their flagship truck, also i was thinking about a Jeep Wrangler Rubicon Unlimited, does anyone know if theres any truth to the new Bronco stories?

If you can get another new raptor and have the cash, I say go for it. The bronco story is just that "a myth"! Jeeps are okay, but really??? That doesn't even compare to a Raptors Capabilities, I think your frustration is getting the better of your thought process. I'm not sure where you live but there are some very knowledgeable vendors on this site that could fix your raptor for you. Take a breather, have a cold beer and take a different outlook and you'll make a good decision I'm sure. Keep us in the loop

thanks for your wisdom my friend, what vendors? I'm new to this site i only joined to find one for purchase back 2012 since they were scarce in washington state, i always pay cash i pride myself on putting myself in the position to be able to do this since 10 years ago i was a lot tech for the dealership i purchased my current raptor from I'm about to turn 30 and a Brand new Raptor is a great gift. i wish i wasn't buying a new rig i wish i didn't have to fork out the cash to buy a new one but with all the issues and with ford replacing all the parts they have, I'm a little hesitant to rely on the vehicle any longer, i am a lil stressed and probably do need a breather but I'm a successful person due to my drive and i just can't wait too much longer than the 22 months have waited so far if there are any vendors that can replace the front end on my raptor i would appreciate the info on them or maybe a rough quote thank you r p.s. raptor is the only way to go

The closest supporting vendor on FRF to Washington state would be the ones located in southern California. You would probably have to ship the raptor to them.

I'm still baffled as to why Ford can't fix it? Or they won't fix it under warranty?

I live further north than you and have driven to Socal to have work done on my raptor. There are also a couple more knowledgeable ones in Arizona as well. Give OUTLAW, SDHQ, ADD, just to name a few. All are very competent and work on raptors every day. I'm sure they can give you a guesstimate over the phone, but no mechanic can diagnos like that, they need the vehicle to test drive and actually see how it is working, or not, in your case!

Maybe if you threaten a lawsuit ford backs off and waits for the outcome? Seems odd they can't fix it. Hope you get it all figured out..

How much were you towing for work? This reminds me a lot of the lemon law guy, except something seems off with your story. They've had your truck for all that time replaced everything and even after consulting a couple lawyers won't buy the truck back? Also every time someone on here offered a suggestion, instead of taking it, your wigging out about them already replacing everything and being to 3 different dealers already. Yukon and I have been to a few dealer that didn't know anything about the raptor. Just because you were at 3 doesn't mean any of them are raptor friendly or competent. And your damn truck is supposedly still under warranty but your going to ship it to a vendor and pay out of pocket plus buy a new one for 13k less than that one. Sorry if this is for real but it all sounds like bull to me.
