Don't be "THAT GUY" and park in 2 spaces at one time in a Raptor

This parking lot was crowded as hell and as i was looking for a spot, i came across this ass hat. What is sad is, one of the 2 spots he took up was next to a curb, so if he would have used the curb correctly, he could have had plenty of door ding protection.

people like this are just ass hats, and if I had a beater, would park 3 inches from the driver door.

I wqs walking up to Home Depot one time and there was a Harley parked right beside the front door, I mean up on the sidewalk righ next to the sliding door. A perfect day outside nice a sunny. As I was walking up I asked him if he parked so close to the door in case it wouldn't start. I got no reply, but a few giggles from other guys walking in.

To play devils advocate here. What is just as bad, if not worse, is when you park at the absolute far end of a parking lot, and the lot is nearly empty, you take just one space, and some fine person parks as close as they can next to you. Real considerate. I don't condone parking like the truck above is, but door dings are really a pet peeve of mine and it really is a shame more people than not have no concept of it. Pull right up next to you and let their door slam into yours.

I was on my bike, moving out smartly when I picked up a tailgater. I’m not one to dawdle, so I executed my pass, pulled right and got passed. I don’t like tailgaters; I don’t try road discipline or any of that bs, I just want the off my 6. I was fuming in my helmet, we get to the next traffic light which is red. He blows the red light

...and into the emergency room entrance.

Maybe this guy was in a hurry for a good reason, maybe not.

Knock on wood, but how often do you get dinged in a Raptor? Parked normally, almost everything will hit the running boards, delivering instant karma to the careless person's vehicle. Rear doors can be a problem of course.

I’ve always viewed parking this way as counterproductive. Seems just as likely that you will get keyed or dinged by someone who is irritated by what you have done as it is that you will be spared dings because no one can use the spot next to you.

My practice is to park well, chose good spots when available, and avoid parking next to any vehicle I suspect as having kids as passengers. So far, no dings, and the running boards would prevent them most of the time anyway.

Well at least the guy parked in the outskirts of the parking lot when he took two spots.
Maybe this persons has already had far too many door dings from others.
Dont really do this myself much but often I’m tempted to.
I usually try to get a spot on the end of a row and then hug the curb too give more space on the opposite side.
But there still be the ******* that parks incorrectly in the space next to you.
You can drive in every parking lot on the planet and get pissed off on how folks park.

Had a 57 T Bird for 22 years. Always parked waaaay out there. Walked out of a store one day and instantly pissed. Some butt wipe parked right next to me in a near empty lot.

Got over it just as quick when I saw the car was a cherry 57 Chev.
