Anyone running King 3.0” rear shocks which aren’t the full on race bypass version costing $3k?

I’m looking for a cheaper and quieter option to use from King in the form of a smoothie with a piggyback reservoir ideally. I’ve seen them for gen-1’s but only in 2.5” diameter.

Thanks guys,

Dang… Feedback from local shop agrees with “no” unless I compromise some travel #’s which isn’t what I’m looking for:

For a 2018 Raptor, the shocks are 31.1" ext. / 18.75" comp.

The closest we could get with a standard King shock would be a 3.0 x 10" King Piggyback that cycles 18.70" compressed and 28.70" extended so that would work, but would rob you of 2.3" of down travel.

Those custom King bypasses they sell for the raptor must be a special length and travel…

yeah its buy and cry until you get in the big stuff and then you realize why you spent the money..

3.5x16 Fox 5 tubes here, thru the fenderwells here( they are pretty quiet, Kings are not)..

the front needs a bunch of work now to keep up..

pretty sure stock shock is 12" so a 10" is def leaving a lot on the table..

much better off with fresh rebuild, or new stock ones over losing 2+ inches of droop
