But seems like the tech is aware of this and when people have added springs. If he has any meaningful knowledge about this, that would be great. Basically saying if you don’t retrain after adding springs, your truck will never drive and perform optimally? Wow I wonder how many of us never realized.

I like it, so far. Tow a fishing boat once in a while and was trying to reduce the rear end sag. Seemed to help, but I can't help wonder what the reset will do to help.

Im pretty sure the effects it will have on the valving would be much more pronounced if you were off roading vs on road. But curious.

Yup, probably quite a few folks, should be a sticky on proper procedure to follow after spring swap on live valve shocks so everyone could be made aware.

Just took my 2020 in for IDS reset after installing Geiser and Deaver +3. Tech at dealer said this was the first time they are performing this. No issues what so ever though and truck drove much better after the reset, especially the front end. Total cost was $160.

I can bet most dealers have never done it. I’m almost thinking this procedure was never thought of for recalibrating the life valve shocks after adding springs.

So you felt a difference after having this done with new springs? Quite noticeable? It’s looking like truck is way out of sync without reprogramming.

There’s no way to do this using forscan? If I knew what module it was I think I could figure it out
